The laundry room extended the flooring from the Downstairs Bathroom, as well as removed the siding that was the walls, re-framed the doorway to the utility closet, and resolved a plumbing issue.

Demolition took 2 days, because the framing of the utility closet was not correct, and additional materials needed to be purchased to resolve that issue. 

Not the way a door header is built.

Another issue that came up was the riser from the HVAC had a major gap in the back at the trunk. This allowed a large volume of air to escape the ducting system.  We were losing quite a bit of cold air in the summer and hot air in the winter to the attic space.

This required the assistance of a professional HVAC technician, who rebuilt the trunk line, and re-routed the air intake to below the furnace.

We were not able to finish the flooring until after the main part of the kitchen renovation was completed, this was due to the new pantry being framed in, as well as the mud room being finished.
